Texas High School Basketball - Midway edges Cypress Creek
December 3, 2021: Waco, TX 76712 The Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Cypress Creek Cougars (Houston, TX), 48-42 in Friday's non-league test.
The Panthers (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Lovelady (Lovelady, TX). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Lovelady got by Iowa Park (Iowa Park, TX), 51-47, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Cypress Springs for a non-league test on Thursday, December 9.
