December 3, 2021: Bakersville, NC 28705 The Mitchell Mountaineers football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Robbinsville Black Knights to 21 in the Mountaineers non-league win on Friday.
The Mountaineers now possess a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to Tarboro for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 11. Mitchell will play a Vikings squad coming off a 22-12 non-league win over Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 13-1.
