North Central Knights (Bassett, NE) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE), 57-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Central upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Chambers/Wheeler Central (Chambers, NE) to play the Renegades in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 9. The Renegades come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Chambers/Wheeler Central won 37-35 in their recent non-league bout against Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] (Clearwater, NE)

Next up, the Longhorns play the Ravenna Bluejays (Ravenna, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 10. Burwell will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
