Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers (Houston, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting McGuffey Highlanders (Claysville, PA), 44-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chartiers-Houston upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Freedom Area (Freedom, PA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Freedom Area lost 70-63 in their recent non-league bout against Western Beaver (Industry, PA)
