In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Vance Charter Knights basketball team scored a good 47-38 triumph over the Vance County Vipers.

The Knights (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Voyager Academy (Durham, NC). The Vikings go into the 1A Triangle North contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Voyager Academy topped Durham School of the Arts (Durham, NC), 69-37, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Vipers confront the Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 5. Vance County will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 93-56 non-league win over Wake Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC).
