December 30, 2021: Concord, CA 94518 The DeSoto Eagles (DeSoto, TX) basketball nipped the host Carondelet Cougars (Concord, CA), 56-50 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Eagles (16-1) will now prepare for their test against Mansfield (Mansfield, TX). The Tigers go into the 6A Region II District 11 test with a 10-10 record. In their last test, Mansfield was tipped by Huntsville (Huntsville, TX), 44-36, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Pinewood for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 5. Carondelet will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 59-48 non-league win over Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-1.
