California High School Basketball - Portola falls to Capistrano Valley

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Capistrano Valley Cougars basketball team scored a good 76-68 triumph over the Portola Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the Tesoro Titans (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) in a South Coast match, on Wednesday, January 11. Capistrano Valley will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record.

With the defeat, Portola moves to 11-7 on the year. The Bulldogs host Sage Hill (Newport Beach, CA) to meet the Lightning in a Pacific Coast match on Friday, January 6. The Lightning enter the match with a record of 2-9.
