Georgia High School Basketball - Kennesaw Mountain holds off Effingham County
December 30, 2022: Springfield, GA 31329 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs (Kennesaw, GA) and the host Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA), saw Kennesaw Mountain's basketball squad hold off Effingham County by a tally of 56-51.
With the victory, Kennesaw Mountain improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host North Paulding (Dallas, GA) to confront the Wolfpack in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a record of 6-8.
Next up, the Rebels confront the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Effingham County will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 70-41 non-league loss to Jordan Christian Prep (Auburndale, FL).
