Connecticut High School Basketball - Northwest Catholic holds off St. Bernard
December 30, 2022: Uncasville, CT 06382 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Northwest Catholic Lions (West Hartford, CT) and the host St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT), saw Northwest Catholic's basketball squad hold off St. Bernard by a tally of 59-58.
With the victory, Northwest Catholic improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Lions host Conard (West Hartford, CT) to confront the Red Wolves in a Central Connecticut - West Colonial challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Red Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Conard won 75-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Prince RVT (Hartford, CT)
Next up, the Saints confront the Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. St. Bernard will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 52-50 non-league loss to Hall (West Hartford, CT).
