Washington High School Basketball - Zillah knocked off by Davis
December 30, 2022: Yakima, WA 98902 The Davis Pirates basketball team scored 84 points and held the visiting Zillah Leopards to 66 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moses Lake for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Davis will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 53-32 non-league win over Othello (Othello, WA). The Mavericks record now stands at 3-5.
The Leopards (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against La Salle (Union Gap, WA). The Lightning enter the 1A South Central - West contest with a 0-2 record.
