Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Fox Chapel thwarts Pine-Richland
December 30, 2022: Pittsburgh, PA 15238 The Fox Chapel Foxes (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Pine-Richland Rams (Gibsonia, PA), 48-37 in Friday's non-league test.
The Foxes (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Mars (Mars, PA). The Fightin' Planets go into the WPIAL 5A 2 test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Mars went down by Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA), 54-46, in a non-league test.
The Rams now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Hempfield Area for a WPIAL 6A 1 test on Monday, January 2. Pine-Richland will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 52-29 non-league win over Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-3.
