The Pingry School Big Blue (Martinsville, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ridge Red Devil (Basking Ridge, NJ), 48-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, The Pingry School upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Big Blue travel to Mount St. Mary Academy (Watchung, NJ) to play the Lions in a Skyland - Valley bout on Thursday, January 5. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Red Devil play the North Hunterdon Lions (Annandale, NJ) in a Skyland - Raritan bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
