The South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) basketball crushed the host Community School of Davidson Spartans (Davidson, NC), 79-44 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Sabres (13-0) will now prepare for their test against Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record.

The Spartans now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bradford Prep for a 1A/2A Catawba Shores test on Friday, January 5. Community School of Davidson will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 62-55 non-league loss to Carolina International (Concord, NC). The Bears record now stands at 7-3.
