California High School Basketball - Granada nudges Serra
December 30, 2023: Livermore, CA 94550 Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Serra Padres (San Mateo, CA), 75-69 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Granada upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Matadors travel to Sheldon (Sacramento, CA) to play the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 6-7.
Next up, the Padres play the Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Serra will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Dons come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 61-48 non-league loss to San Juan Hills (San Juan Capistrano, CA).
