California High School Basketball - Menlo-Atherton nips Valley Christian
December 30, 2023: San Jose, CA 95111 Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA), 61-58 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Menlo-Atherton upgrades its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA) to play the Cougars in a Peninsula - Bay bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 8-4.
Next up, the Warriors play the Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) in a West Catholic bout, on Thursday, January 4. Valley Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record.
