The Central Cabarrus Vikings nipped the visiting Carolina International Comets basketball squad by a final score of 63-60 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont outing, on Friday, January 3. Central Cabarrus will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record.
