California High School Basketball - Montgomery holds off Windward

December 30, 2024: Los Angeles, CA 90066

The Montgomery Aztecs basketball team scored 75 points and limited the host Windward Wildcats to 74 in the Aztecs non-league triumph on Monday.

The Aztecs now possess a 14-1 record. They play next when they host Scripps Ranch for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Montgomery will confront a Falcons team coming off a 62-60 non-league win over Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Windward falls to 12-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to West Ranch (Valencia, CA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 5-8. West Ranch won 64-51 in their recent non-league game against Aquinas (San Bernardino, CA)
