Nebraska High School Basketball - Malcolm toppled by Northwest

Northwest Vikings (Grand Island, NE) backers went home thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team thwart the host Malcolm Clippers (Malcolm, NE), 59-51 in a non-league contest.

The Vikings (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against McCook (McCook, NE). The Bison go into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, McCook topped Arlington (Arlington, NE), 69-65, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Clippers confront the Lourdes Central Catholic Knights (Nebraska City, NE) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 3. Malcolm will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 1-5 record after their 55-50 non-league loss to East Mills (Malvern, IA).
