The Desert Hills Thunder basketball squad (St. George, UT), was knocked off 40-31 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Salpointe Catholic Lancers (Tucson, AZ)

The Lancers (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty (Henderson, NV). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Liberty prevailed over Torrance (Torrance, CA), 67-56, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Thunder encounter the Pine View Panthers (St. George, UT) in a 4A Region 9 challenge, on Tuesday, January 6. Desert Hills will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record.
