The Douglas Tigers were victorious over the host University City Centurions basketball squad by a final score of 45-30 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) in a non-league outing, on Friday, January 2. Douglas will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Cougars enter the outing with a 10-3 record after their 58-51 non-league loss to Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA).

With the loss, University City falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Centurions travel to Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA) to confront the Broncos in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 6.
