The Union Grove Lions basketball squad scored 75 points and held the visiting West Rusk Raiders to 43 in the Lions non-league victory on Tuesday.

Next, the Lions face the Hawkins Hawks (Hawkins, TX) in a 2A Region III District 21 outing, on Friday, January 2. Union Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 18-1 season record. The Hawks enter the outing with a 13-9 record after their 53-25 non-league win over Christian Heritage (Longview, TX).
