The Waterford Wildcats (Waterford, CA) basketball edged the visiting Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA), 58-51 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Le Grand for a Southern League bout on Friday, January 2. Waterford will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 61-52 non-league loss to Dos Palos (Dos Palos, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-7.
