The Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones were victorious over the visiting New Site Royals basketball squad by a final score of 70-54 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Fighting Cyclones confront the Unicoi County Blue Devils (Erwin, TN) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 2. Elizabethton will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Blue Devils go into the game with a 7-8 record after their 58-22 non-league win over West Orange (Winter Garden, FL).
