Georgia High School Basketball - Groves overwhelms May River

December 4, 2021: Garden City, GA 31408

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Groves Rebels (Garden City, GA) and the visiting May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC), saw Groves's basketball squad wallop May River by a tally of 71-49.

With the victory, Groves improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Beach (Savannah, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a AAA Region 3 challenge on Friday, December 10. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Sharks confront the Savannah Country Day Hornets (Savannah, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 7. May River will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record.
