California High School Basketball - Geffen Academy nips St. Bernard
December 4, 2021: Playa del Rey, CA 90293 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Geffen Academy Bruins (Los Angeles, CA) and the host St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA), witnessed Geffen Academy's basketball squad nip St. Bernard by a margin of 23-22.
The Bruins (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Hawthorne Math & Science Academy (Hawthorne, CA). The The Aviators go into the Coastal test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Hawthorne Math & Science Academy got by Environmental Charter (Lawndale, CA), 44-22, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Price for a non-league test on Monday, December 6. St. Bernard will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 56-42 non-league loss to Oakwood (North Hollywood, CA). The Knights record now stands at 3-2.
