Match Summary
This one was a tale of a loss by near misses in a game that could have been in our win column. With 16 minutes left in the half, Tyler boomed in long-range shot that hit the right post, and Dylan’s solid shot on goal a bit later was just a bit tardy as their keeper was able to get in position to stop it. The first frame ended with neither side lighting up the scoreboard. A bit of defeensive inattention allowed them to net one just 2 minutes into the second half, and they punched in another just before the water break. We were able to halve their lead on Claire’s lovely corner kick that found the inside of the far post, but we failed to get more. Pandora bagged Player of the Game laurels for her solid performance. EmmaT was active in front with 10 stops, and we logged 7 shots/3 on goal to their12 shots on goal in 17 attempts.
