December 5, 2024: Cumby, TX 75433 Community Braves (Nevada, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Miller Grove Hornets (Cumby, TX), 62-9 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Community upgrades its record to 10-2 on the year. The Braves travel to Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX) to face the Bobcats in a non-league match on Thursday, December 5. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 0-1.
The Hornets now sport a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Hopkins for a non-league match on Friday, December 6. Miller Grove will face a Panthers squad coming off a 44-33 non-league win over Ford (Quinlan, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 6-1.
