Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Upper Arlington Golden Bears (Columbus, OH) and the host Central Crossing Comets (Grove City, OH), saw Upper Arlington's basketball squad hold off Central Crossing by a tally of 41-37.

With the victory, Upper Arlington improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Golden Bears host Westerville Central (Westerville, OH) to confront the Warhawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 10. The Warhawks come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Westerville Central won 50-42 in their recent league challenge against Westerville North (Westerville, OH)
