Missouri High School Basketball - Galena tops McAuley Catholic
December 6, 2019: Galena, MO 65656 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Galena Bears (Galena, MO) and the visiting McAuley Catholic Warriors (Joplin, MO), saw Galena's basketball squad knock off McAuley Catholic by a count of 51-41.
With the victory, Galena upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Wheaton (Wheaton, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 10. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Wheaton lost 65-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Jefferson Independent Day (Joplin, MO)
Next up, the Warriors play the Pierce City Eagles (Pierce City, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. McAuley Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 51-50 non-league loss to Billings (Billings, MO).
