Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lakewood Tigers (Lakewood, CO) and the host Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO), saw Lakewood's basketball squad hold off Mullen by a tally of 71-66.

With the victory, Lakewood improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Northfield (Denver, CO) to confront the Nighthawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 7. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Northfield won 72-64 in their recent non-league challenge against Wheat Ridge (Wheat Ridge, CO)
