Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) and the host Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), saw East Rowan's basketball squad hold off Lake Norman Charter by a tally of 42-39.

With the victory, East Rowan improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Concord (Concord, NC) to confront the Spiders in a 3A Conference 48 challenge on Friday, December 9. The Spiders come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Concord lost 63-29 in their recent league challenge against Carson (China Grove, NC)

Next up, the Knights confront the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) in a 3A Conference 48 challenge, on Friday, December 9. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 60-28 league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC).
