Texas High School Basketball - New Boston can't hold off Sulphur Springs
December 6, 2022: New Boston, TX 75570 The Sulphur Springs Wildcats basketball team scored 51 points and held the host New Boston Lions to 46 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cooper for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Sulphur Springs will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 56-33 non-league win over Whitewright (Whitewright, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-7.
The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bloomburg (Bloomburg, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Bloomburg nudged Avinger (Avinger, TX), 40-32, in a league contest.
