The Roane County Raiders basketball team scored 43 points and limited the host Braxton County Eagles to 27 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.

The Raiders now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Clay County for a Little Kanawha - East game on Tuesday, December 10. Roane County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 59-21 league loss to Buffalo (Buffalo, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
