South Carolina High School Basketball - South Point crushes Catawba Ridge

December 6, 2024: Fort Mill, SC 29715

The South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) basketball crushed the host Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC), 54-31 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Red Raiders now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Clover for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 10. South Point will play a Blue Eagles team coming off a 64-40 non-league win over Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Catawba Ridge falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Copperheads host York Prep (Rock Hill, SC) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 10. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 0-1. York Prep lost 67-6 in their recent non-league bout against Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC)
