Georgia High School Basketball - Dawson County tops White County
December 7, 2021: Cleveland, GA 30528 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA) and the host White County Warriors (Cleveland, GA), saw Dawson County's basketball squad knock off White County by a count of 62-47.
With the victory, Dawson County upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA) to play the Indians in a AAA Region 7 challenge on Friday, December 10. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Lumpkin County won 79-35 in their recent league challenge against East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA)
Next up, the Warriors play the Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) in a AAA Region 7 challenge, on Friday, December 10. White County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 70-15 league win over West Hall (Oakwood, GA).
