Michigan High School Basketball - Rockford overwhelms Catholic Central
December 7, 2024: Rockford, MI 49341 The Rockford Rams basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Catholic Central Cougars to 43 in the Rams non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Rams now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Traverse City Central for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Rockford will confront a Trojans team coming off a 82-80 non-league win over Marquette (Marquette, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Catholic Central falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Coopersville (Coopersville, MI) to confront the Broncos in a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. The Broncos go into the game with a record of 1-0.
