Silver Creek Dragons (Sellersburg, IN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN), 47-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Silver Creek upgrades its record to 10-0 on the season. The Dragons host Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN) to clash with the Warriors in a Mid-Southern bout on Tuesday, December 14. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Scottsburg won 66-57 in their recent non-league bout against New Albany (New Albany, IN)

Next up, the Highlanders clash with the Bloomington North Cougars (Bloomington, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 11. Floyd Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 52-49 non-league win over Owen Valley (Spencer, IN).
