Arizona High School Basketball - Chinle overwhelms Valley

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Chinle Wildcats (Chinle, AZ) and the visiting Valley Pirates (Sanders, AZ), saw Chinle's basketball squad wallop Valley by a tally of 65-34.

With the victory, Chinle improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Ganado (Ganado, AZ) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Ganado won 72-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Red Mesa (Teec Nos Pos, AZ)

Next up, the Pirates confront the Round Valley Elks (Eagar, AZ) in a 2A North challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Elks come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 49-33 non-league loss to Fort Thomas (Fort Thomas, AZ).
