The Cozad Haymakers basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Hershey Panthers to 31 in the Haymakers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Haymakers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valentine for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Cozad will meet a team coming off a 66-53 non-league win over Todd County (Mission, SD). The record now stands at 2-2.

Next up, the Panthers play the St. Patrick's Irish (North Platte, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Hershey will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Irish come into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 74-22 league win over Maxwell (Maxwell, NE).
