December 9, 2019: Hopkins, SC 29061

Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Blythewood Bengals (Blythewood, SC), 29-13 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lower Richland upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Diamond Hornets host Cross Creek (Augusta, GA) to play the Razorbacks in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 12. The Razorbacks go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Cross Creek lost 59-47 in their recent non-league bout against North Augusta (North Augusta, SC)

Next up, the Bengals play the Richland Northeast Cavaliers (Columbia, SC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 11. Blythewood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 59-34 non-league win over Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC).
