Curie Condors (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Brooks Eagles (Chicago, IL), 70-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Curie upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Condors travel to Leo (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Sunday, December 12. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Leo won 62-51 in their recent league bout against Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Kenwood Broncos (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public - Red South bout, on Tuesday, December 14. Brooks will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 65-59 non-league loss to Richardson (Richardson, TX).
