Marshall Eagles (Pasadena, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting El Monte Lions (El Monte, CA), 63-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, Marshall upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Mountain View (El Monte, CA) to play the Vikings in a Mission Valley bout on Monday, December 12. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 1-5.

Next up, the Lions play the Gabrielino Eagles (San Gabriel, CA) in a Mission Valley bout, on Monday, December 12. El Monte will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 61-38 non-league win over Charter Oak (Covina, CA).
