New York High School Basketball - St. Joseph Hill Academy trounces Kellenberg Memorial
December 9, 2023: Uniondale, NY 11553 The St. Joseph Hill Academy Hilltoppers (Staten Island, NY) basketball crushed the host Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds (Uniondale, NY), 54-29 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Hilltoppers (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY). The Blue Streaks go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Saratoga Springs was trounced by Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY), 52-44, in a league test.
The Firebirds now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Kennedy Catholic for a non-league test on Sunday, December 10. Kellenberg Memorial will encounter a Gaels squad coming off a 65-38 non-league loss to Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Gaels record now stands at 1-3.
