In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Oakcrest Chargers (McLean, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC), by a count of 47-21.
The Chargers (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against Burke (Washington, DC). The Bengals go into the Potomac Valley outing with a 3-10 record. In their last outing, Burke was crushed by McLean (Potomac, MD), 44-18, in a league outing.
The Eagles now hold a 5-10 record. They play next when they host School Without Walls for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 2. Model Secondary School for the Deaf will clash with a Penguins squad coming off a 68-16 non-league loss to Anacostia (Washington, DC). The Penguins record now stands at 2-7.
