Washington High School Basketball - Blaine holds off Nooksack Valley
February 1, 2022: Blaine, WA 98230 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA) and the visiting Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA), saw Blaine's basketball squad hold off Nooksack Valley by a tally of 52-49.
With the victory, Blaine improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Borderites travel to Ferndale (Ferndale, WA) to confront the Golden Eagles in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Saturday, February 5. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Ferndale won 67-37 in their recent league challenge against Bellingham (Bellingham, WA)
Next up, the Pioneers confront the Sehome Mariners (Bellingham, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Thursday, February 3. Nooksack Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Mariners come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 63-47 league win over Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA).
