Texas High School Basketball - Steele holds off New Braunfels
February 1, 2022: New Braunfels, TX 78130 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) and the host New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX), saw Steele's basketball squad hold off New Braunfels by a tally of 46-45.
With the victory, Steele improves its record to 21-11 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Clemens (Schertz, TX) to confront the Buffaloes in a 6A Region IV District 27 challenge on Friday, February 4. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a record of 20-11.
Next up, the Unicorns confront the East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 27 challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. New Braunfels will attempt to improve on its 12-20 season record.
