The Laurel Locomotives (Laurel, MT) basketball felled the host East Helena Vigilantes (East Helena, MT), 49-33 in Thursday's league test.

The Locomotives (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Billings Central Catholic (Billings, MT). The Rams go into the A Southeast test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, Billings Central Catholic thwarted Havre (Havre, MT), 78-70, in a non-league test.

The Vigilantes now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Lockwood for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3. East Helena will encounter a LIONS squad coming off a 65-52 league win over Hardin (Hardin, MT). The LIONS record now stands at 10-3.
