In Thursday's league outing, the Medicine Valley Raiders (Curtis, NE) basketball squad edged the host Wauneta-Palisade Broncos (Wauneta, NE), by a count of 51-50.

The Raiders (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Bertrand (Bertrand, NE). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 5-11 record. In their last outing, Bertrand was tipped by Cambridge (Cambridge, NE), 37-28, in a non-league outing.
