The Sandy Creek Patriots basketball team scored 76 points and limited the visiting Fayette County Tigers to 46 in the Patriots league triumph on Saturday.

The Patriots now have a 19-3 record. They play next when they host St. Pius X Catholic for a non-league game on Monday, February 3. Sandy Creek will confront a Golden Lions team coming off a 86-84 non-league win over Sequoyah (Canton, GA). The Golden Lions record now stands at 16-6.

With the loss, Fayette County falls to 11-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA) to confront the Knights in a AAA Region 2 game on Monday, February 3. The Knights go into the game with a record of 15-4. Upson-Lee won 65-36 in their recent non-league game against Lamar County (Barnesville, GA)
