February 10, 2025: Middlesboro, KY 40965 The Middlesboro Yellowjackets (Middlesboro, KY) basketball crushed the visiting Jenkins Cavaliers (Jenkins, KY), 62-11 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 12-9 record. They play next when they host Harlan County for a District 52 bout on Wednesday, February 12. Middlesboro will play a Black Bears team coming off a 55-42 non-league loss to Clay County (Manchester, KY). The Black Bears record now stands at 7-15.
With the loss, Jenkins falls to 1-17 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 5-18. Magoffin County lost 68-33 in their recent league bout against Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY)
